Soap soap and more soap!

Perhaps the soaps excite me too much!!  I have already run through my first 10 lbs of glycerin without even TOUCHING the surface of all the soaps I want to create!  I just ordered more, along with ordering some more yummy smelling oils.  Keep watching for more delicious soaps!

Oh the waiting...

I am waiting, not so patiently, for my latest molds and glycerin to arrive.  For YEARS I created only cold processed soap.  While I love cold process, it is not a safe message to do with toddlers or too little sleep!!  One little screw up on the sodium hydroxide and ER, here I come!!  Being that I'm not the most graceful person on the planet, or in my house for that matter, switching to glycerin is a much better idea for me at the time.  I will still be using the essential oils to keep it better for the skin.

Speaking of toddlers, it's bath time for bonzo.  Until we meet again....

My Little Slice of Heaven

Welcome to Practically Magickal, my little slice of heaven.  Practically Magickal ... what comes to mind when you hear the words?  Women.  Beautiful soaps.  Apothecary bottles.  Herbs.  Teas.  Lotions.  Essential oils.  Color.  Candles.  Books.  Family.  These are the thoughts weaving through my mind when I say Practically Magickal.  It's a way of life, a way of looking at life.  Realizing life is a gift, I look for simple, practical ways to add magick & beauty to the every day.

Creating natural bath and beauty products is just one of my passions.  Beautiful soaps, sometimes whimsical, sometimes rustic.  Luxurious lotions and creams to pamper not only your skin but also the skin of a newborn.  Healing salves for boo boos and diaper rashes.  Lip balms.  Soothing bath salts.  Silky body powders. Everything is made with natural ingredients, essential oils, and love.
